Program Type 2
This video will focus on substance use disorder (SUD) treatment providers who work in identified SUD units within a general medical facility, and when they must follow the federal privacy protections for SUD treatment information, known as 42 CFR Part 2.
Examples of identified SUD units within a general medical facility include specialized treatment units in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) or Community Health Center (CHC), or an in-patient SUD unit in a general hospital.
