Kelly McCauley, LSCSW

Kelly McCauley, LSCSW, is the Behavioral Health Lead for the CoE-PHI, and the Director of Mental Health Services at CAI, specializing in large-scale implementation of evidence-supported practices within the health care and social service spaces at CAI. She received her master’s degree in social work from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and completed a clinical fellowship under the direction of Dr. Scott Sells.

Kelly entered private practice and home health social work specializing with youth and people with HIV/AIDS. She was a clinical director on adult and adolescent dual diagnosis units before becoming director of foster care services and working in the field of child welfare for 25 years where she developed programs focused on reducing time to permanency, reducing the length of time children were in residential placement, and implementation of trauma-informed care as a mechanism to reduce placement disruption, and conducted research in foster care and trauma-informed care approaches nationally and internationally. Eventually, she joined the Annie E. Casey Foundation as a child welfare fellow implementing evidence-based practices in multiple states.

Kelly has presented at numerous national and international conferences and has published research findings.
