Abigail English, JD

Abigail is a lawyer, researcher, and advocate for the rights of vulnerable young people. She provides consultation services to nonprofit organizations and public agencies on legal and policy issues in adolescent and young adult health including federal and state health privacy laws. She is currently a consultant for the National Center for Youth Law and for the Center of Excellence for Protected Health Information (CoE-PHI), and an Adjunct Associate Professor at the Gillings School of Global Public Health at UNC Chapel Hill. She also serves as Senior Policy Fellow for the Society for Adolescent Health and Medicine (SAHM); in 2007-2008 she was President of SAHM.
