Health Privacy Law Compliance Senior Associate

Ashleigh Giovannini is the Health Privacy Law Compliance Senior Associate for the CoE-PHI at CAI. Ashleigh has expertise in federal and state laws, rules, and regulations governing data privacy, cybersecurity, advertising technology, artificial intelligence, telehealth and telemedicine delivery, healthcare and life sciences, and research and educational institutions. Her background includes significant experience advising start-ups, healthcare organizations, individual health care providers, non-profits, and established international corporations on matters of global data privacy and cybersecurity compliance. As a member of the CoE-PHI team, Ashleigh provides training and technical assistance to providers, government agencies, and individuals on the various health privacy laws, including HIPAA, the 21st Century Cures Act, and 42 CFR Part 2.

Prior to joining CoE-PHI, Ashleigh was an associate at a large national law firm where she focused her practice on health data privacy and cybersecurity. She is a graduate of the University of Arkansas School of Law and received her Master of Laws in Health Law from St. Louis University School of Law. Ashleigh is also a Certified Information Privacy Professional through the IAPP and recently became certified in cybersecurity through ISC2. She is licensed to practice law in Arkansas.
