Purpose of this toolkit
In this toolkit, you’ll find ready-to-use content and graphics to promote the resources on the Center of Excellence for Protected Health Information (CoE-PHI) website in your online communications with your constituencies.
Background
As you know, the SAMHSA-funded CoE-PHI’s website contains a robust and up-to-date resource library, including a suite of elearning modules, and videos to make complex federal health privacy laws easily understandable and applicable. Ensuring that the resources and training that we provide are responsive to the context and needs of our audiences is central to our strategy.
All our resources are intended to promote awareness and strengthen knowledge and skills for professionals who are seeking to understand and apply federal health privacy laws and regulations on the job, and for individuals and families to understand what their privacy rights are when seeking and receiving treatment for mental health and SUDs.
How to Use This Toolkit
Four easy steps
- Step 1. Identify your audience.
- Step 2. Decide which medium (social media, newsletter, news/resource page on your website) would best reach your target audience.
- Step 3. Select and review the section that meets your need(s).
- Step 4. Use the media assets provided to share with your selected target audience. Feel free to tailor the messages to fit the needs of your target audience.
