A Discussion About the 42 CFR Part 2 Final Rule and Next Steps for Implementation

The CoE-PHI and NASADAD will host a virtual presentation for the NASADAD State Medical Directors’ Learning Community, during which we’ll outline recent changes to 42 CFR Part 2, and engage in a moderated discussion regarding next steps for implementation by State Medical Directors.

Objectives

• Understand recent changes to 42 CFR Part 2 under the Final Rule
• Recognize next steps for implementation of required changes
• Discuss questions from State Medical Directors regarding next steps for implementation, and encourage sharing among members about steps taken thus far to implement changes
• Identify how to access resources and technical assistance through the CoE-PHI
